رحبت روسيا، الأحد، بإزالة صفة التهديد المباشر لموسكو من الاستراتيجية الأميركية للأمن القومي.

وقال المتحدث باسم الكرملين دميتري بيسكوف، الأحد، إن الكرملين رحب بالخطوة التي اتخذتها إدارة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب لمراجعة استراتيجية الأمن القومي والتوقف عن وصف روسيا بأنها تهديد مباشر.

وقال بيسكوف لوكالة أنباء تاس الرسمية، إن الوثيقة المحدثة حذفت الكلمات التي تصف روسيا بأنها تهديد مباشر، وحثت بدلا من ذلك على التعاون مع موسكو في قضايا الاستقرار الاستراتيجي.

وأضاف: "نعتبر ذلك خطوة إيجابية".
