قال وزير الدفاع الياباني، شينجيرو كويزومي، إن مقاتلات صينية وجهت الرادار الذي يتحكم في إطلاق النار إلى مقاتلات يابانية فوق المياه الدولية، أمس السبت، بالقرب من جزر أوكيناوا اليابانية في واقعتين منفصلتين وصفهما الوزير بأنهما "خطرتان".

وأضاف الوزير كويزومي في منشور على موقع إكس: "تجاوزت إضاءة الرادار ما هو ضروري للطيران الآمن للطائرات".

وأوضح كويزومي، أن اليابان قدمت احتجاجا إلى الصين بشأن الواقعة "المؤسفة".

يعد قفل رادار التحكم على وضع إطلاق النار أحد أكثر الأعمال التي يمكن أن تقوم بها طائرة عسكرية تهديدا لأنه يشير إلى هجوم محتمل، مما يجبر الطائرة المستهدفة على اتخاذ إجراءات مراوغة.
