قالت الحكومة الكندية الجمعة إنها رفعت اسم سوريا من قائمة الدول الأجنبية الراعية للإرهاب.

وذكرت الحكومة في بيان "تتماشى هذه الإجراءات مع القرارات التي اتخذها حلفاؤنا، بما في ذلك المملكة المتحدة والولايات المتحدة، في الآونة الأخيرة وتأتي في أعقاب الجهود التي تبذلها الحكومة الانتقالية السورية لتعزيز استقرار سوريا وبناء مستقبل شامل وآمن لمواطنيها، والعمل مع الشركاء العالميين لتعزيز الاستقرار الإقليمي ومكافحة الإرهاب".
