دعت مديرية الأمن العام ونظراً لما ستشهده المملكة من حالة عدم استقرار جوي متوقعة وهطول الأمطار بمشيئة الله، قد تكون غزيرة أحياناً إلى ضرورة الابتعاد عن جوانب الأودية وأماكن تشكل السيول خاصة بالمناطق الجنوبية والشرقية من المملكة.

كما دعت المديرية الى التأني أثناء القيادة وضرورة الابتعاد عن التجمعات المائية وعدم المجازفة بقطعها سيراً على الأقدام أو بالمركبات.

وأهابت المديرية بضرورة اتباع السلوك الآمن عند استخدام وسائل التدفئة وعدم تركها مشتعلة عند النوم، وتوفير التهوية المناسبة للمنازل.

وأكدت على عدم التردد بالاتصال على هاتف الطوارئ الموحد 911 إذا دعت الحاجة لذلك.
