قدم الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا)، الجمعة، النسخة الأولى لجائزة فيفا للسلام؛ خلال حفل قرعة كأس العالم 2026، في مركز جون إف كينيدي للفنون المسرحية، بالعاصمة الأميركية واشنطن.

وهذه الجائزة التي أكد الرئيس الأميركي أنه "يستحقها" قبل أن يحصل عليها، تكافئ بحسب الاتحاد "الجهود الهائلة التي يبذلها أشخاص يوحدون الناس ويعطون الأمل للأجيال المقبلة".

واعتبر ترامب خلال التكريم إنّ منحه جائزة فيفا للسلام "أحد أعظم التكريمات" في حياته.
