أعلن رئيس الحكومة اللبناني نواف سلام، الأربعاء، أن بلاده منفتحة على قيام لجنة مراقبة وقف إطلاق النار من التحقق من عملية نزع سلاح حزب الله في جنوب لبنان.

وقال سلام في تصريحات صحفية "أبلغنا اللجنة بأننا جاهزون لأن تقوم بإجراءات التحقق ميدانيا كلما كان لديهم أي قلق أو شكوك، ونحن منفتحون على التحقق" من قبل اللجنة.

وأشار سلام إلى أن المحادثات في إطار لجنة وقف إطلاق النار، التي انضمّ إليها ممثلان مدنيان إسرائيلي ولبناني، لم تصل بعد إلى مرحلة محادثات "سلام".
