أظهرت أداة فيد ووتش التابعة لمجموعة سي.إم.إي أن الأسواق تتوقع بنسبة 88% أن يخفض مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) سعر الفائدة 25 نقطة أساس في اجتماعه المقبل في 10 كانون الأول، مقارنة مع 63% قبل شهر.

انخفض الدولار الثلاثاء بعدما أظهرت بيانات نشاط التصنيع في أكبر اقتصاد في العالم أداء أضعف من المتوقع مما أدى إلى زيادة الضغوط على مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) لخفض أسعار الفائدة في اجتماعه الخاص بالسياسة النقدية في وقت لاحق من هذا الشهر.
