قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الأحد إن إدارته تعتزم الإبقاء على تعليق مؤقت لقرارات اللجوء "لفترة طويلة"، في أعقاب إطلاق مواطن أفغاني النار على اثنين من أفراد الحرس الوطني قرب البيت الأبيض.

وعندما سئل ترامب إن كانت هناك مدة محددة لهذا التعليق، أجاب أنه لم يضع "حدا زمنيا" للإجراء الذي تقول وزارة الأمن الداخلي إنه مرتبط بقائمة تضم 19 دولة سبق وأن فرضت قيود سفر عليها.
