لقيت زوجة مساعد الرئيس الإيراني إسماعيل سقاب اصفهاني مصرعها وأصيب 4 من الأفراد الآخرين لعائلته بجروح جراء حادث مروري في محافظة سمنان الإيرانية. وأكد المتحدث باسم جامعة سمنان الطبية أن الحادث وقع عصر اليوم الأحد، على طريق شريف آباد – ايوانكي، حيث اصطدمت سيارة المرأة بشاحنة عند مدخل مدينة ايوانكي.

وأضاف المتحدث أن زوجة المسؤول الإيراني توفيت في الحال، وأصيب والدها و3 أطفال تتراوح أعمارهم بين 12 و16 سنة بجروح.

وأشار إلى أن إثنين من الأطفال في حالة حرجة، وتم نقل المصابين إلى طهران لتقديم العلاج لهم.
