نظم مركز شباب البتراء ورشة توعوية حول الوقاية من المخدرات بمشاركة 30 شاباً من مدرسة عاصم بن ثابت من الفئة العمرية 15 - 17 عاماً.

وتحدث الرائد خالد الخشمان عن الوقاية من المخدرات والإدمان من خلال الوعي الحقيقي بخطورة هذه الآفة، مبيناً أهمية تعزيز مهارات الحياة لدى الشباب وتمكينهم من اتخاذ القرارات السليمة.

وأشار الخشمان إلى دور المدرسة المهم في وقاية الطلاب من تعاطي المخدرات، من خلال عدة مداخل تعليمية وأخلاقية وصحية ونفسية واجتماعية وغيرها، إلى جانب دورها في تفعيل التربية الوقائية لحماية الطلاب من المخدرات.
