بدأت مديرية زراعة الكورة والجمعية العلمية الملكية، بالاستعداد لموسم التحريج، وذلك بالتعاون مع منظمة الفاو، بتمويل من مرفق البيئة العالمي GEF.

ووفق بيانٍ صحفي عن مديرية زراعة الكورة، اليوم الجمعة، فقد جرى إنشاء الخطوط الكونتورية، حيث تم رسم خطوط تضمن الحفاظ على التربة ومنع الانجراف، كما تم تشكيل الهالات وهي تقنيات تساعد على تجميع المياه والحد من التآكل وتعمل على تحسين التربة، إضافة إلى أنه تم تجهيز الأراضي حيث يقوم العمال بتجهيز التربة لزراعة البذور وغرس الشتلات، مما يضمن نجاح التحريج واستدامته.

وتُنفذ هذه الأعمال في منطقة رابية الكورة بمنطقة الرخيم والمطلة على سد زقلاب، لضمان بيئة صحية ومستدامة.
