استقر الذهب على نحو كبير الخميس بعد أن سجل أعلى مستوى له في أسبوعين تقريبا في الجلسة الماضية، مع تقييم المتعاملين في السوق لاحتمال خفض سعر الفائدة الأميركية في كانون الأول وسط إشارات متضاربة من مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي.

بحلول الساعة 0200 بتوقيت غرينتش، انخفض الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.2% عند 4154.09 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة).

وهبطت العقود الأميركية الآجلة للذهب تسليم كانون الأول 0.3% إلى 4151.20 دولار للأوقية.
