ترامب يتراجع عن تحديد موعد نهائي للتوصل إلى سلام في أوكرانيا

تراجع الرئيس الأميركي، دونالد ترامب، الثلاثاء، عن الموعد النهائي الذي حدده في وقت سابق لأوكرانيا للموافقة على خطة سلام تدعمها الولايات المتحدة بحلول الخميس.

وقال ترامب: "الموعد النهائي بالنسبة لي هو عندما يُنجز الأمر".

وأضاف ترامب أن المفاوضين الأميركيين يحرزون تقدما في المناقشات مع روسيا وأوكرانيا، وأن موسكو وافقت على بعض التنازلات.

كان ترامب قد أكد في مقابلة، الجمعة، أن إدارته حددت الخميس المقبل موعدا نهائيا لكي توافق أوكرانيا على خطة البيت الأبيض المكونة من 28 نقطة لإنهاء الحرب الروسية في أوكرانيا.

وقال في مقابلة إذاعية مع "فوكس نيوز": "لقد حددت الكثير من المواعيد النهائية، ولكن إذا سارت الأمور على ما يرام، قد يتم تمديد المهل النهائية. لكن يوم الخميس هو الموعد النهائي".
