تعرض فريق الحسين للخسارة أمام مستضيفه سبهان أصفهان الإيراني (0 - 2)، في لقاء جرى مساء الثلاثاء على ستاد نقش جيهان ضمن الجولة قبل الأخيرة للمجموعة الثالثة لبطولة دوري أبطال آسيا (2) لكرة القدم.

وسجل هدف سبهان الطرف الأفضل في اللقاء آريا يوسفي (73) ومحمد أزغري (90+5).

وفقد الحسين الذي كان قد ضمن تأهله للدور الثاني بوقت سابق صدارة المجموعة بعد أن تجمد رصيده 6 نقاط، فيما أرتقى سبهان لصدارة المجموعة (7)، ليضمن هو الأخر التأهل إلى الدور الثاني.

وبات الحسين بحاجة إلى تحقيق الفوز في مواجهته الأخيرة أمام آهال التركماني الذي فقد حظوظه في التأهل،يوم 23 الشهر المقبل على ستاد عمان الدولي.
