أكّد البيت الأبيض، الثلاثاء بأن القضايا التي ما زالت عالقة في المباحثات الرامية لوضع حد للحرب الروسية على أوكرانيا "ليست مستعصية على الحل" لكنها ستتطلب المزيد من المفاوضات.

وقالت الناطقة باسم البيت الأبيض كارولاين ليفيت على (إكس)، إنّ "الولايات المتحدة حققت تقدّما هائلا باتّجاه التوصل إلى اتفاق للسلام" بين روسيا وأوكرانيا.

وأضافت "هناك بعض التفاصيل الحساسة ولكنها ليست مستعصية على الحل والتي يتعيّن حلّها وستستوجب المزيد من المحادثات بين أوكرانيا وروسيا والولايات المتحدة".
