رد البيت الابيض الاثنين على انتقادات توجه الى الرئيس دونالد ترامب، وخصوصا من داخل الحزب الجمهوري، واتهامه بأنه منحاز الى روسيا في جهوده لإنهاء النزاع في أوكرانيا.

وصرحت المتحدثة باسم الرئاسة كارولاين ليفيت بأن التسويق "لفكرة ان الولايات المتحدة الاميركية لا تعمل مع الجانبين على قدم المساواة لإنهاء هذه الحرب، خاطئ تماما".

واضافت ليفيت أن ترامب ابدى "تفاؤلا وأملا" بإمكان العمل على خطة تنهي هذه الحرب التي بدأت بغزو روسي لأوكرانيا.
