أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، اليوم السبت، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات، إذ جرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة.
