قال البيت الأبيض اليوم الخميس إن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب لا يريد إعدام أعضاء بالكونجرس، وذلك بعد أن هاجم النواب الديمقراطيين الذين قالوا إن الجيش الأمريكي يجب أن يرفض أي أوامر غير قانونية.

وجاء ذلك في تعقيب للمتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض كارولاين ليفيت عندما سئلت في إفادة صحفية عن تعليقات ترامب التي وصف فيها مشرعين ديمقراطيين بأنهم خونة يجب إعدامهم.
