افتتح فريق شباب الأردن رصيده من الانتصارات في بطولة درع الاتحاد لكرة القدم، بعد تفوقه على فريق السرحان بنتيجة 2–1، في اللقاء الذي أقيم بينهما مساء الخميس، على ملعب الأمير محمد بالزرقاء، ضمن افتتاح الجولة الخامسة من المسابقة.

ورفع شباب الأردن بهذا الفوز رصيده إلى 4 نقاط، فيما بقي السرحان عند رصيده السابق البالغ 3 نقاط.

و تقام الجمعة مواجهتان؛ الأولى بين الرمثا والأهلي عند الساعة 5:00 مساء، والثانية بين السلط والفيصلي عند الساعة 8:00 وتختتم الجولة السبت بلقاء الوحدات والبقعة عند الساعة 6:30 مساء.
