تلتقي إيطاليا مع ضيفتها إيرلندا الشمالية في نصف نهائي المسار الأول من الملحق الأوروبي المؤهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026، بموجب قرعة سحبت الخميس في مقرّ الاتحاد الدولي (الفيفا) في زيوريخ.

وستكون إيرلندا الشمالية الخصم الأول لإيطاليا، المتوجة 4 مرات باللقب العالمي والساعية إلى أن يكون خوضها الملحق للمرة الثالثة تواليا ثابتا، بعدما فشلت في تخطيه في النسختين الأخيرتين، على أن تلتقي في حال تجاوزها نصف النهائي مع ويلز أو البوسنة والهرسك للظفر بإحدى البطاقات الأربع المتبقية عن أوروبا.
