قال متحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية، الخميس، إنّ باريس قلقة بشأن تكثيف الهجمات الإسرائيلية في جنوب لبنان، وإنها تدعو الجيش الإسرائيلي أيضا إلى احترام سيادة سوريا ووحدة أراضيها.

وأضاف المتحدث "نحن قلقون بشأن تكثيف الهجمات الإسرائيلية في جنوب لبنان. نندد بالهجمات الإسرائيلية التي تقتل المدنيين في الجنوب. موقفنا هو موقف احترام وقف إطلاق النار المبرم في 27 أيلول 2024".

وكثف الجيش الإسرائيلي من غاراته الجوية في جنوب لبنان الأربعاء، مما أسفر عن مقتل شخص على الأقل في وقت يشن فيه حملة هجمات شبه يومية يقول إنها تهدف إلى منع عودة حزب الله إلى النشاط في المنطقة الحدودية.

وأشار المتحدث إلى أن فرنسا "تتابع التطورات في هضبة الجولان بقلق بالغ. وتدعو فرنسا إلى انسحاب الجيش الإسرائيلي واحترام سيادة سوريا ووحدة أراضيها".
