قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب اليوم الخميس، إنه وقع على مشروع قانون يقضي بنشر ملفات جيفري إبستين، التي يُتوقع أن تلقي الضوء على شبكة علاقاته وشخصيات سياسية معروفة مرتبطة به.

وقال ترامب في بيان نشره عبر منصة "تروث سوشيال": إن وزارة العدل سلّمت بالفعل نحو 50 ألف صفحة من الوثائق إلى الكونغرس، مؤكداً أن التصويت على القانون جاء شبه بالإجماع بعد طلبه من رئيس مجلس النواب مايك جونسون وزعيم الأغلبية في مجلس الشيوخ جون ثيون تمريره.

وأشار ترامب إلى أن إبستين، الذي وُجهت إليه تهم في 2019، كانت له صلات بعدد من الشخصيات السياسية البارزة، مؤكداً أن نشر الملفات سيكشف "الحقيقة" حول هذه الروابط.
