أشار الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الإثنين إلى أنه سيسمح بتنفيذ ضربة أميركية على الأراضي المكسيكية ضد كارتلات مخدرات إذا لزم الأمر.

وردا على سؤال طرحه صحافي في البيت الأبيض حول ما إذا سيوافق على عملية أميركية لمكافحة المخدرات في المكسيك، قال ترامب "هل سأشن ضربات في المكسيك لوقف المخدرات؟ لا بأس بذلك بالنسبة إلي"، لافتا إلى أن بلاده ستفعل "كل ما يتعين فعله" لوقف المخدرات.
