أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية أمس الأحد، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وجرى تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة.
