توجّه ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان، الإثنين، إلى الولايات المتحدة في زيارة رسمية ترمي إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين الرياض وواشنطن، وفق ما أعلن الديوان الملكي السعودي.

وسيلتقي ولي العهد، الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب لبحث العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيزها في مختلف المجالات، ومناقشة القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

وأفاد مصدر مقرّب من الحكومة بأن اللقاء سيُعقد الثلاثاء.

وأعدّت الرياض استقبالا حافلا لترامب الذي زار السعودية في أيار حاصدا تعهّدات استثمارية بـ 600 مليار دولار في الولايات المتحدة.

وسيُنظم خلال الزيارة منتدى استثماري أميركي-سعودي حول الطاقة والذكاء الاصطناعي في واشنطن.
