سجل برونو فرنانديز ثلاثية من بينها ركلتا جزاء ليقود البرتغال في غياب نجمها كريستيانو رونالدو لفوز ساحق 9-1 على ضيفتها أرمينيا والتأهل لنهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم في أمريكا الشمالية.

وأضاف جواو نيفيز ثلاثية أخرى في هذا الانتصار الكبير بعدما هيمنت البرتغال على المباراة من البداية للنهاية وسط تألق مواهبها.

وغاب رونالدو بسبب الإيقاف بعد طرده لأول مرة في مسيرته الدولية خلال هزيمة الفريق 2-صفر في ايرلندا الخميس الماضي.

وكانت تلك هي المرة الأولى التي يُطرد فيها رونالدو في 226 مباراة مع منتخب بلاده.
