التقى وزير الداخلية مازن الفراية الجمعة، المفوضة الأوروبية لشؤون المتوسط، دوبرافكا سويتشة في لشبونة.

وقالت سويتشة بعد انتهاء اللقاء عبر صفتحة على منصة اكس، "يُعد الأردن شريكًا أساسيًا في الأمن الإقليمي".

وأضافت "ناقشنا تنفيذ الركيزة الثانية من شراكتنا الاستراتيجية والشاملة: الأمن والدفاع، والتصدي للتهديدات الهجينة، وإدارة الحدود، والهجرة، بما في ذلك دعم اللاجئين السوريين".

ويدعم الاتحاد الأوروبي الأردن من خلال بناء القدرات، وتطوير نقاط العبور الحدودية.
