أدى عشرات الآلاف صلاة الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى المبارك-الحرم القدسي الشريف، حيث توافدوا إليه منذ ساعات الصباح في ظل الإجراءات العسكرية المشددة التي تفرضها سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الوصول إلى المسجد.

وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا)، بأن قوات الاحتلال انتشرت في باحات المسجد الأقصى، وعند بابي العامود والساهرة، وفي طريق سوق الجمعة، ونصبت الحواجز الحديدية، وشددت الخناق على المصلين، حيث أوقفت الشبان، ودققت في بطاقاتهم الشخصية، ومنعت العديد منهم من الوصول للمسجد.
