سجل المركز اللبناني للجيوفيزياء هزة أرضية بعد ظهر اليوم شعر بها سكان بيروت وشمال لبنان، بعد هزة صباحية بقوة 5.2 على مقياس ريختر حدد موقعها غرب جزيرة قبرص.

وأعلن الدفاع المدني اللبناني "ان عناصره نفذوا مهمات ميدانية في مدينة طرابلس شمال لبنان لتأمين سلامة المواطنين الذين غادروا منازلهم تحسباً من ارتدادات الهزة، ولتقديم المساعدة للنازحين".
