مددت المحكمة العليا في الولايات المتحدة مهلة تنفيذ أمر قضائي يلزم إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترامب بتمويل المساعدات الغذائية بالكامل لنحو 42 مليون مواطن من ذوي الدخل المنخفض هذا الشهر وسط إغلاق الحكومة الاتحادية، حتى مع اتخاذ المشرعين خطوات نحو إنهاء الأزمة.

ويتيح قرار المحكمة للإدارة الأميركية مواصلة حجب ما يقرب من 4 مليارات دولار من برنامج المساعدة الغذائية التكميلية، المعروف أيضا باسم قسائم الغذاء.
