تعاملت الأجهزة الأمنية اليوم مع بلاغ ورد حول وجود حقيبة مشبوهة في مجمع سفريات إربد المركزي "مجمع عمان الجديد" حيث تم على الفور فرض طوق أمني في محيط المنطقة المشتبه بها حفاظا على سلامة المواطنين والممتلكات.

وأوضح مصدر أمني أنه تم استدعاء الفرق المختصة لفحص الحقيبة وبعد اتخاذ الإجراءات الأمنية اللازمة والتعامل الحذر معها تبين أنها حقيبة عادية تعود لأحد الأشخاص وتحتوي على مقتنيات شخصية فقط ولا تشكل أي خطورة.

وأكد المصدر أن الإجراءات التي تم اتخاذها جاءت ضمن الإجراءات الاحترازية المتبعة في مثل هذه الحالات حرصًا على السلامة العامة وسلامة مرتادي المجمع مشيرا إلى أن الوضع في الموقع عاد إلى طبيعته بعد الانتهاء من الفحص الأمني.
