أكدت إسرائيل أن الرفات التي تسلّمته في وقت سابق الأحد من حركة حماس يعود لهَدار غولدِن، الضابط الإسرائيلي الذي قُتل خلال حرب غزة عام 2014.

وأوضح مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي في بيان أنه "بعد استكمال إجراءات التعرّف على الهوية، أبلغ ممثلو الجيش الإسرائيلي عائلة الرهينة القتيل، الضابط هدار غولدِن، بإعادة جثمان ابنهم إلى البلاد".
