انتُخب جهاد قطيشات نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية الأردنية، بالتزكية عضواً في المكتب التنفيذي لاتحاد اللجان الأولمبية الوطنية العربية للفترة 2025 – 2029.

جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع الجمعية العمومية الثالث والعشرين الذي عُقد اليوم السبت، في مدينة الرياض، على هامش استضافة المملكة العربية السعودية للدورة السادسة لألعاب التضامن الإسلامي.

وحضرت الأمين العام للجنة الأولمبية الأردنية رنا السعيد، إلى جانب قطيشات، اجتماع الجمعية العمومية الرابع عشر للاتحاد الرياضي للتضامن الإسلامي الذي عُقد في وقت سابق اليوم، وذلك في إطار مشاركة الأردن الفاعلة والمستمرة في دعم وتعزيز التعاون العربي والإسلامي في المجال الرياضي.

وشهد الاجتماع فوز سمو الأمير عبد العزيز بن تركي الفيصل برئاسة اتحاد اللجان الأولمبية الوطنية العربية للدورة القادمة، حيث تم انتخاب المكتب التنفيذي الجديد للفترة المقبلة.
