نصحت فرنسا رعاياها بمغادرة مالي لفترة موقتة "في أقرب وقت"، في وقت يفرض الجهاديون حصارا على العاصمة باماكو والعديد من مناطق البلاد، وذلك في رسالة الى المسافرين نشرتها الخارجية الفرنسية الجمعة.

واوردت الرسالة "منذ أسابيع عدة، يتدهور الوضع الأمني في مالي، بما في ذلك في باماكو. ننصح المواطنين الفرنسيين بمغادرة مالي موقتا في أقرب وقت عبر الرحلات التجارية التي لا تزال متوافرة"، لافتة الى أنها "لا تنصح بالتنقل من طريق البر لأن الطرق الوطنية تتعرض راهنا لهجمات مجموعات إرهابية".
