أكد مصدر مسؤول في وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين السورية، أن لا صحة لما نشر عن القواعد الأميركية في سوريا.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السورية "سانا" عن المصدر قوله، إن "المرحلة الراهنة تشهد تحولاً في الموقف الأميركي باتجاه التعامل المباشر مع الحكومة السورية المركزية، ودعم جهود توحيد البلاد ورفض أي دعوات للتقسيم".

وأضاف المصدر: "يجري العمل على نقل الشراكات والتفاهمات التي كانت اضطرارية مع أجسام مؤقتة إلى دمشق، في إطار التنسيق السياسي والعسكري والاقتصادي المشترك".

ولفت المصدر إلى أن سوريا في عهدها الجديد ماضية بثبات نحو ترسيخ الاستقرار، وتعزيز التعاون القائم على السيادة الوطنية والاحترام المتبادل.
