أعلن الناطق باسم الرئاسة الروسية، ديمتري بيسكوف، اليوم الخميس، أن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أوعز إلى وزارتي الخارجية والدفاع وأجهزة الاستخبارات والهيئات المدنية بتقديم مقترحات بشأن التحضير لإجراء تجارب نووية في المرحلة المقبلة.

وأوضح بيسكوف، أن هذه الخطوة تهدف إلى ضمان الأمن القومي الروسي في ظل تصاعد التوترات الدولية، مؤكداً أن موسكو ستتخذ قراراتها وفقاً لمصالحها الإستراتيجية وبما يتوافق مع التزاماتها الدولية في مجال الحد من التسلح.
