أفادت وسائل إعلام أمريكية اليوم الأربعاء، بفوز المرشح الديمقراطي زهران ممداني في انتخابات مدينة نيويورك. وذكرت قناة "سي بي إس" أن المرشح الديمقراطي زهران مامداني فاز بانتخابات عمدة مدينة نيويورك، وهزم المرشح المستقل أندرو كومو والمرشح الجمهوري كورتيس سليوا.

ولفتت إلى أنه بعد عد 38% من الأصوات، لغاية الآن، زهران ممداني يتقدم على أندرو كومو بنسبة 11.2%.

أما كورتيس سليوا فقد حصل على 8% فقط من الأصوات.وكشفت "سي بي إس" أن ممداني أبلى بلاء حسنا وسط الناخبين الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 45 عاما، وبشكل خاص الناخبين الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 30 عاما.
