أعلن برنامج الأغذية العالمي، التابع للأمم المتحدة، أنه قام بتوزيع طرود غذائية على مليون شخص في قطاع غزة، بعد مرور 3 أسابيع على وقف إطلاق النار.

وأضاف البرنامج، في بيان نُشر على الموقع الرسمي لبرنامج الأغذية العالمي اليوم الثلاثاء، أن الفرق الإنسانية تحتاج إلى فتح المزيد من المعابر والوصول إلى الطرق الرئيسية في قطاع غزة لمواصلة توسيع نطاق عملياتها لتصل إلى المستوى المطلوب.

وقال البرنامج إنه يهدف إلى الوصول إلى 1.6 مليون شخص في القطاع، مشيرا إلى أن كل أسرة حصلت على حصة مخفضة تحتوي على طرد واحد يحتوي على طعام يكفي لمدة 10 أيام، نظرا للإمدادات المحدودة.
