يلتقي فريق الوحدات لكرة القدم نظيره الاستقلال الإيراني، عند التاسعة والربع من مساء يوم غد الأربعاء، على ستاد الملك عبدالله الثاني بالقويسمة، في إطار منافسات الجولة الخامسة في المجموعة الأولى بدوري أبطال آسيا 2.

ويسعى فريق الوحدات لتحقيق الفوز في المباراة، لإحياء آماله بالتأهل إلى الدور الثاني، حيث يتصدر فريق الوصل الإماراتي المجموعة برصيد 9 نقاط، يليه المحرق البحريني برصيد 6 نقاط، ثم الاستقلال الإيراني 3 نقاط والذي يتقدم على فريق الوحدات بفارق الأهداف.

وحقق الوحدات نقاطه الثلاثة بالفوز على فريق المحرق، في لقاء الإياب، فيما خسر في مرحلة الذهاب أمام الوصول الإماراتي والمحرق البحريني والاستقلال الإيراني.
