تم تداول الذهب بأقل من 4000 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) مجددا اليوم الثلاثاء إذ ظل الدولار عند أعلى مستوياته في أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر، في حين أدى تراجع فرص خفض آخر لأسعار الفائدة الأمريكية في كانون الأول وانحسار التوتر التجاري بين الولايات المتحدة والصين إلى إضعاف الطلب على المعدن الأصفر.

وانخفض الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.2 بالمئة إلى 3992.23 دولار للأوقية بحلول الساعة 0343 بتوقيت جرينتش. ونزلت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم ديسمبر كانون الأول 0.3 بالمئة إلى 4001.40 دولار للأوقية.
