أكد تقرير للتصنيف المرحلي المتكامل للأمن الغذائي المدعوم من الأمم المتحدة الاثنين، انتشار المجاعة في مدينة الفاشر بشمال دارفور وكادوغلي في جنوب كردفان بغرب السودان وجنوبه.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن الفاشر وكادوغلي تعانيان المجاعة منذ أيلول/سبتمبر 2025، محذرا من أن انعدام المعلومات حيال تطورات النزاع يؤدي إلى "تفاقم خطر المجاعة ولا سيما في 20 مدينة من المتوقع أن تستقبل النازحين في شمال وجنوب وشرق دارفور وكذلك غرب كردفان وجنوبها".
