"يونسكو" تعترف بعيدي الفطر والأضحى

اعترفت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (يونسكو)، بعيدي الفطر والأضحى عيدين إسلاميين رئيسيين، وذلك خلال المؤتمر العام الـ43، المنعقد حاليا في مدينة سمرقند التاريخية بأوزبكستان.

وأوضحت اللجنة الوطنية لـ"يونسكو" في إيران، في بيان رسمي، أن "القرار جاء بناء على اقتراح جمهورية إندونيسيا وقرار المجلس التنفيذي في دورته الـ209 بالمؤتمر العام".

وبموجب هذا القرار، سيقوم المدير العام لـ"يونسكو"، سنويا، بنشر رسالة خاصة بمناسبة العيدين لتسليط الضوء على أهميتهما الثقافية والاجتماعية والروحية.

وأشار القرار إلى أن الهدف من هذا الإجراء تعزيز التفاهم الثقافي والاحترام المتبادل، وتوسيع الحوار بين الأديان، وتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي، ودعم مبادئ الكرامة الإنسانية والمساواة والتنوع الثقافي.
