قال وزير الحرب الأميركي بيت هيغسيث، الأحد، إن الجيش الأميركي نفذ ضربة مميتة على سفينة تديرها منظمة لتهريب المخدرات في منطقة الكاريبي، مما أدى إلى مقتل ثلاثة رجال كانوا على متنها.

وأضاف الوزير في منشور على موقع إكس أن العملية، التي أشرف عليها الرئيس دونالد ترامب ونُفذت في المياه الدولية، استهدفت سفينة معروفة بنقلها للمخدرات على طريق تهريب، ولم يصب أي من القوات الأميركية بأذى.
