هدّد الرئيس دونالد ترامب السبت بإرسال قوات أميركية إلى نيجيريا "مدججة بالسلاح" إذا لم توقف أكبر دولة في إفريقيا من حيث عدد السكان ما وصفه ب"قتل المسيحيين" على أيدي "إرهابيين إسلاميين".

وقال على منصته تروث سوشل "إذا استمرت الحكومة النيجيرية في السماح بقتل المسيحيين، ستوقف الولايات المتحدة فورا كل المساعدات لنيجيريا، وقد تذهب إلى هذا البلد مدججة بالسلاح للقضاء على الإرهابيين الإسلاميين الذين يرتكبون هذه الفظائع الرهيبة".

وأضاف "أصدر تعليماتي لوزارة الحرب بالاستعداد لعمل عسكري محتمل".
