عبّر عدد من نجوم كرة القدم المغربية عن فرحتهم بتصويت مجلس الأمن الدولي، الجمعة، لصالح دعم خطة الحكم الذاتي المغربية في الصحراء المغربية.

ونشر نادي "الوداد" فيديو للاعب نور الدين أمرابط، فال فيه: "يوم كبير جدا، وأنا سعيد. أهنئ جلالة الملك محمد السادس وجميع المغاربة بقرار مجلس الأمن بدعم المغرب في مبادرته للحكم الذاتي بالصحراء. الحمد لله والشكر لله. عاش الملك، وديما مغرب".

من جانبه، عبّر حكيم زياش عن سعادته بالقرار الأممي، واصفا إياه بـ"اليوم الكبير" للمغاربة.
