قال متحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية إن إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترامب تدعم إلغاء العقوبات المفروضة على سوريا بموجب قانون قيصر من خلال مشروع قانون تفويض الدفاع الوطني الذي يناقشه المشرعون الأمريكيون حاليا.

وأضاف المتحدث "الولايات المتحدة على تواصل منتظم مع شركائها في المنطقة، وترحب بأي استثمار أو مشاركة في سوريا بما يدعم إتاحة الفرصة لجميع السوريين في بناء دولة يسودها السلام والازدهار".
