تبدأ مديرية الأمن العام، صباح السبت حملة التدقيق الفني على المركبات للتأكد من جاهزيتها الفنية لاستقبال فصل الشتاء، وتستمر لمدة شهر.

وبحسب إدارة السير؛ سيتم خلال الحملة وضع ملصق يوضح صلاحية المركبة بعد التدقيق عليها، بحيث لا تُوقَف مرة أخرى، وفي حال وجود أي خلل، يُمنح السائق إشعارًا لتصويبه خلال مدة أقصاها سبعة أيام، كما سيصل إلى رقم هاتف مالك المركبة رسالة (SMS) بهذا الخصوص.

وتهدف الحملة إلى التأكد من الجاهزية الفنية للمركبات، بما يوفّر بيئة مرورية آمنة تُسهم في الحفاظ على أرواح وممتلكات مستخدمي الطريق، والحد من الحوادث المرورية أو الأعطال الفنية التي قد تؤثر على انسيابية حركة السير.
