موسكو: نتوقع رد واشنطن على تجديد معاهدة ستارت قبل انتهاء مدتها القانونية

أعلن وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف، أن بلاده تتوقع رداً رسمياً من الولايات المتحدة على مبادرة الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين المتعلقة بتمديد العمل بمعاهدة "ستارت الجديدة" الخاصة بتقليص الأسلحة الهجومية الإستراتيجية، قبل انتهاء أجلها القانوني.

وأكد لافروف خلال مؤتمر صحفي، أن موسكو لا تزال ملتزمة بالمعايير الكمية المحددة في المعاهدة، مشدداً على أهمية الحفاظ على آليات الرقابة والشفافية لضمان الاستقرار الإستراتيجي ومنع سباق تسلح جديد بين القوتين النوويتين.
