تعهد قائد قوات الدعم السريع محمد حمدان دقلو توحيد السودان "سلما أو حربا"، وذلك في خطاب بثّ الأربعاء بعد ثلاثة أيام من سيطرة قواته على مدينة الفاشر، آخر معاقل الجيش في إقليم دارفور بغرب البلاد.

وقال دقلو في الكلمة المصوّرة التي وزعتها قناته الرسمية على تطبيق تلغرام، إنّ "تحرير الفاشر تحوّل لصالح وحدة السودان، ونحن نقول وحدة السودان سلما أو حربا".
