قال رئيس الوزراء القطري وزير الخارجية، محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني، إن أحداث الثلاثاء في غزة "مخيبة للآمال ومحبطة للغاية بالنسبة لنا"، مشيرا إلى أن بلاده تركز على ضمان صمود اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.

وأضاف من نيويورك "نحاول الضغط على حماس للإقرار بضرورة نزع سلاحها"، مبينا أن "من الواضح لنا أن حماس مستعدة للتخلي عن الحكم في غزة".

وأردف يقول "الهجوم على جنود إسرائيليين انتهاك لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة".

وتابع "واجهنا الكثير من التحديات للتوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار في غزة والطريق لم يكن سهلاً".
